About us
This great event started in 2023, with some friends
This bucolic river valley is the remaining tidal stream in the lower reaches of the continent, near the North Sea.
An informal, intimate and convivial version takes place twice a year from Moerzeke (Hamme), Dendermonde, Wichelen to Wetteren, with a limited number of participants, but frequently indeed.
And where choosing for one of 3 competition is not tabou at all.
Dit fantastische evenement is in 2023 van start gegaan, met enkele vrienden.
Deze idyllische riviervallei is de laatste getijdenstroom in het lagere deel van het continent, vlakbij de Noordzee. Twee keer per jaar vindt er een informele, intieme en gezellige versie plaats, van Moerzeke (Hamme), Dendermonde, Wichelen tot Wetteren, met een beperkt aantal deelnemers, maar wel regelmatig. En waar het kiezen voor een van de 3 wedstrijdfomules absoluut geen taboe is.
XL 2028
Starting in 2028, a Biennial XL - version will run from Temse, towards Hemiksem, heading to the Antwerp metropolitan area. World records will have to be broken there :-)

Starting from 40 participants we order a Bristol FLF to bring the athletes from Wetteren arrivals to the Moerzeke (Hamme) departure. Great experience. If the coach has his maximal of 64 occupants we offer budget pricing. And we can order two or more.
Vaarunie en Roeiteam Scheldeland organiseren.
Organizers. 'The main goal of this rowing trip is to locally promote boating to schools, youth groups, and sports services. We introduce these children, young people, students and adults to boating within the safe Nieuwdonk Domain in Berlare. Our trips on the tidal river are led by experienced rowers.'
'Deze roeitocht heeft als belangrijkste doelstelling de vaarsporten op de kaart te zetten bij scholen, jeugdbewegingen en sportdiensten uit de regio. We leren deze kinderen, jongeren, studenten en volwassenen kennismaken met vaarsporten binnen het veilige Domein Nieuwdonk te Berlare. Onze tochten op de getijdenstroom worden met ervaren roei(st)ers uitgevoerd.'
Organisateurs.
L'objectif principal de cette regate d'aviron / rando est de promouvoir le superbe sport nautique auprès des écoles, des associations de jeunes et des services sportifs de la région. Nous initions ces enfants, ces jeunes, étudiants et adultes à l'aviron dans le domaine sécurisé de Nieuwdonk à Berlare. Nos regates et randos sur le fleuve a marées sont encadrées par des rameurs expérimentés.
